Tim Wallace and his wife Becky came to Grace in the summer of 2012, after serving for 23 years as a youth pastor and assistant pastor at Midlothian Bible Church, in Midlothian, TX. Tim is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary (Th.M., 1987), and has a passion to see God’s Word change lives inside and outside the church. Tim says, “I truly believe that the Gospel has the power to totally change people from the inside out, causing us to become better disciples of Jesus, which, in turn, makes us better dads/husbands, moms/wives, better kids, better employees, better neighbors, etc. And, as God is at work in us, He then works through us to reach others and impact our community and world for Jesus.”
“And it’s all by Grace”. he continues. “Grace saves us. We can’t earn it, we can only receive it by grace, through faith (Ephesians 2:8,9). But, it doesn’t stop there. Grace is not just the doorway. It’s the pathway that carries us through life. At Grace, we’re not perfect people. We’re ‘People of Grace’: undeserving people, simply graced by God. And we are seeking to ‘shine like stars in the universe, holding out the Word of life’” (Phil. 2:15,16, NIV).
